History of the Teutonic Warriors in GW: The Reign of Borb
Each chapter in this history relates to a certain alliance that TW was in during the reign of Borborygmos Mizzet. The chapters are in chronological order.
Prologue:
After Teutonic Paladin went berzerk, Sol's first reign started downhill. Sol knew this, and chose Borborygmos Mizzet as his successor, were he to give up leadership. He gave Borb a few practice leaderships, and eventually Sol gave up leadership and Borb took over the Teutonics.
Chapter 1: [HoP] / [HV]
After Sol gave up leadership, TW stayed in the HoP alliance. Life went on as usual, until one day, a clash of HoP officials sent the guild spiraling out of control. Chubbs, the leader of the GvG branch of HoP, went off to make his own guild, Honorary Vanguard.
Borb realized HoP was falling apart, and TW left the HoP alliance. TW joined up with HV, which contained the followers of Chubbs, and a few former Teutonics. After about a week, TW and HV joined up with HoP again, which was attempting to rebuild. But Chubbs didnt feel he was getting what he needed out of HV, which was intense PvP. He left HV, and a few days later, HV merged with TW under the Teutonic name. HoP failed to rebuild, and TW left it again, thus ending Chapter 1 of this history.
Chapter 2: [SMS] / [VE]
After leaving the HoP alliance, TW found itself with SMS. SMS was the leader of the alliance that contained VE, the guild which some former TW/HV had joined. This alliance was the ideal place for TW. Fun was had, friends were made, and TW was doing pretty well over all. When the leader of VE quit Guild Wars, everything changed. VE died, TW lost its connections to the SMS Alliance, and TW left the most successful alliance it had ever been in.
Chapter 3: [Evil]
Evil was made from the ashes of VE. TW was easily accepted to ally with Evil, with all the connections it had with Evil already. This was the start of TW's usage of Ventrilo. Evil let us use thier vent server, and the two guilds became very close. This lasted for about 2 months, until the leader of Evil, Necro Puffs, left to expand his PvP expertise. Evil died, and many of its members either left for another guild or another game.
Epilogue:
Borb, Sol, and a few other Teutonics went to play Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. We learned much about guild management from our experiences with The Brethren, our LOTRO guild, come back to try and reboot TW, with Sol leading once again.
