Templates are built into guildwars so you can instantly save and load a set of skills and attributes. This greatly speeds up changing builds.
To Save A Template - See the below animation.

You do the same thing for loading a template.
To Load A Template From The Internet -
Template files are just notepad (.txt) files and inside those files is a code such as
"ATQhTfKUr1UPurGkUCf5fIPAIA"
Well what the heck does this mean? Nobody cares. Just place the code into a notepad file under your Guild Wars Templates directory
(default is My Documents\Guild Wars\Templates\Skills)
Give the text file a name that will let you recognize the build. Boot Guild Wars and load your template. Poof, you should automatically have the attribute points and skillbar exactly how you wanted it.
Templates do not just work for skills, you can save and load PVP Character templates for your armor and weapons. it is done the same way, by clicking on the blue floppy icon under Inventory. it will save and load exactly what you have, even down to the color of your armor.
The only difference is that you place the notepad template file under \Equipment instead of \Skills.
(default is My Document\Guild Wars\Templates\Equipment)
